When you become a SmarterArter, people will be throwing their business cards at you. Be prepared with this small life hack. Because business card holders just don’t work very well. This is a guide on how to make a simple business card holder in two steps for free.
What You’ll Need:
1. A hoop earring (Men, if you can’t find one, you can also use one of the clips you keep your keys on.)
2. A hole punch
3. Business Cards
Step One: Punch a hole in the corner of all your business cards. This should take about 3-5 minutes depending on how many you have. If you’re going to use a key clip you’ll have to make two holes, so that it’s slightly bigger.
And now, here are some examples of how to use it. I like to keep the business cards I receive on a push-pin near my calendar. This method is great because you can flip through the business cards easily without having to take them off of the ring. Sort of like a rolodex.
As for my own business cards, I like to keep them on my keychain to hand out. I think the hole punch makes for a nice accent in the corner. Something to stand out. A small note, though. My business cards are sturdy. If you have flimsy cards, do not go with the keychain method.
